The Granada Theater

Originally built in the 1930′s as a silent movie theater, The Granada has hosted live music since 1993. Some noteworthy national and international artists include: M83, The Get Up Kids, Ben Folds, Flaming Lips, Weezer, Henry Rollins, Pat Green, G-Love & Special Sauce, Marilyn Manson, Dirty Projectors, Jerry Cantrell, Murder by Death, Big Head Todd, Smashing Pumpkins, Rusted Root, John Mayer, Creed, Blink 182, The Roots, Jack’s Mannequin, Walk The Moon, The Killers, Phoenix and Snow Patrol.

Maceli’s Banquet Hall

This original downtown location and namesake has been a place to gather since 2005. Within this building, are multiple, beautifully designed spaces to comfortably host events for groups as small as 25 and as large as 300. The main room has recently undergone a major renovation that increased its capacity and kept that classy look Maceli’s has always had.
Maceli’s will be the site for our Thursday Night Gala and a comedy show on Friday and Saturday night.

Abe and Jake’s Landing
8 East Sixth Street, Lawrence KS 66044
This building was originally a barb wire factory and became known for the excellent fishing along the river near it. Abe and Jake were two prolific fishermen who made their living that way. Today, it is a uniquely awesome event venue that entertains just by itself. Our comics will be taking the stage here on Friday for two shows. You may even find Abe and Jake themselves laughing along.
